We cater to skiers and riders of all ages and abilities, but we specialize in providing an excellent experience for beginners and nurturing a love for winter sports. Our passion for offering quality and affordable winter fun has driven us for 60 years.

These organizations provide our staff with training and education focused on maintaining a high standard of excellence in snowsports education. Learning to ski or snowboard has never been easier or more affordable! Maple Ski Ridge, located in NY's Capital District, is one of the best in the area, and we're proud to be recognized as a Registered Snowsports School of PSIA/AASI (The Professional Ski Instructors of America/American Association of Snowboard Instructors).
Our instructors are highly qualified and well-trained, with many holding certifications at multiple levels. Instructors who are not yet certified benefit from the expertise of our knowledgeable staff with additional training and are actively working towards certification. We set high standards for our instructors, which translates into better instruction and better outcomes for our students.
Learn to Ride...
Our Snow Sports School is also proud to be an official Burton "Learn to Ride Center." Specifically designed for beginners, Burton Learn to Ride snowboards are the perfect introduction to the sport. With soft flexes for forgiving turn initiation, convex bases to help with steering and stopping, and beveled edges that create a catch-free ride, LTR snowboards make learning fun and easy. Plus, LTR snowboards are available in sizes to fit most riders, ranging from 70cm for the kiddos to 160cm for the adults.

​Maple Ski Ridge is a member of both NSAA (National Ski Areas Association) and SANY (Ski Areas of New York), both highly regarded industry professional organizations that promote best practices for maintenance, area operations, lifts, grooming, snowmaking, and safety amongst ski areas.
